Grievance Redressal Cell


The function of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to look into the matter’s complaints from any student, and took decision according to its merit. The Grievance Cell is also empowered in any matters of harassment inside the college campus. Anyone may approach the principal or the members of the committee in person, or in consultation with the Dean of Students Welfare (DSW) who is the officer-in-charge of Students’ Grievance Cell.
In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the suggestion box of the Grievance Cell near the Notice Board. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Designated Appellate Authority (DAA) of Students’ Grievance Cell. (principalbcc@gmail.com)

OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the college. The following are the objectives:

  1. Encouraging the Students to express their grievances/problems freely.
  2. Any complaint/suggestion or grievances can be put in writing Suggestion/complaint Box is installed in front of the College Notice Board in which the students, put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics/ Administration in the College.
  3. Students of the college are advise to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patience.
  4. All staffs are advise to be affectionate to the students and not behave in a revengeful manner towards any of them.

SCOPE & NATURE:
The cell will deal with Grievances received in writing from the students in:

  1. Academic Matters: Related to classes and timetables, timely issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, Transfer Certificates, or other examination related matters.
  2. Other Matters: Related to certain conditions of about sanitation, canteen, classrooms, victimization by teachers etc.

POWERS & FUNCTIONS:

  1. The cases will be attended on receipt of written grievances from the students
  2. The cell will review all cases and will act accordingly in pursuance of the college policy.
  3. The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending
    cases

PROCEDURE FOR LODGING COMPLAINT:

  1. The students may put up a grievance in writing/or in the format available in the website and drop
    it in suggestion box.
  2. The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the
    necessary documents.
